** 02. A Windows User's Roadmap to the Apple Macintosh User
Interface: Part 2 - Reader Tips (by Lee Hudspeth)
Here are some helpful Mac-to-PC "switching" tips provided by The
Naked PC readers. You can read my first article here:

Poul pointed out that in my original article I neglected to
mention the shortcuts for Cut, Copy, and Paste. Oops! The letter
key portion of the shortcuts are the same in both environments
(Macintosh OS and Windows):
Cmd+X = Cut
Cmd+C = Copy
Cmd+V = Paste
On a PC you press the Ctrl key, then the appropriate letter, and
on a Mac you press the Cmd key.
There are other common shortcuts, the first two shown below were
pointed out by Jeff M. (for all of these, substitute Ctrl on a
PC). You'll find a few others but these are the most familiar.
Cmd+S = File, Save
Cmd+P = File, Print
Cmd+N = File, New
Cmd+O = File, Open
Cmd+F = Edit, Find (most Microsoft Office apps)
Cmd+H = Edit, Replace (most Microsoft Office apps)
Some Mac-only shortcuts that I personally use quite a bit are:
Cmd+W = Close (Ctrl+F4 on a PC)
Cmd+U = edit in Excel's formula bar (F2 on a PC)
Our colleague and The Naked PC's Contributing Editor Al Gordon
pointed out a cool book by David Pogue, "Switching to the Mac:
The Missing Manual."

Files" is available here:
